Construction Worker killed on IU project. Likely IOSHA Violations.

Construction Worker William Brown Jr was killed while working on Swain Hall on the IU Bloomington Campus. According to news reports, he was struck by a large piece of limestone from overhead. Although Mr. Brown was wearing a hard hat, he was unfortunately fately injured. IOSHA requires  workers to be protected from falling objects under Section 1926.451 (h). As a subcontractor employee, Mr. Brown should have been provided a safe place to work. IOSHA standards are the minimum standards required to provide such a safe place and prevent work injuries such as this.
